As I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner who made me feel immediately welcome. To my pleasant surprise, I found a generous and delicious treat of scones, cream, and jam waiting for me in the cottage. I couldn't resist indulging right away! The enclosed garden provided a peaceful oasis, and the spacious accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts went above and beyond, ensuring that I had everything I needed and even stocking the fridge with essentials like milk and eggs. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly restful stay. Though the access road was a bit rough, the overall experience more than made up for it. I highly recommend Owl Barn in Tavistock for a memorable and relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
