Saw horses from the cabin, felt like a cowboy! Nice terrace and TV for chilling. Close to airport and art center, just in case I wanted to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owls Nest. It was a peaceful log cabin next to a horse field, providing a private and tranquil setting. The spacious cabin was well-equipped, including a well-stocked kitchen for self-catering. The central heating system was excellent, ensuring a cozy stay even in the winter months. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Northumberland countryside and visiting nearby National Trust properties. We also loved the added bonus of having animals on site, particularly feeding the horses and ponies with the supplied carrots and apples. We are already planning our next stay here in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at a peaceful log cabin surrounded by beautiful horses and nature. The cabin itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Our dogs loved roaming around the two enclosed paddocks, it was a great touch for pet owners. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when we made a mistake with our check-out date. The complimentary food items were a nice bonus and the children enjoyed the various indoor and outdoor toys available. Despite a few minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it for a tranquil getaway.

Loved the free WiFi, super useful for scrolling through Instagram instead of exploring nearby attractions.

Oh, I just hated that the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art was a whole 37 km away, such a dreadful inconvenience!
