My recent stay at Voco - Oxford Spires Hotel was absolutely delightful. The location was perfect, with a lovely walk along the river to the city center. The surprise of a balcony in our room added an extra touch of luxury. The hotel staff even allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. Free parking was a definite bonus, and the sprawling grounds provided a beautiful setting. The spacious room had a fantastic view of the fields and water, complete with horses, geese, and other wildlife. The quality of the bathroom and the large pool were additional highlights. Plus, the complimentary perks like slippers, robes, a mini bar, and breakfast made us feel truly pampered. Room service was exceptional, and the overall hotel experience was nothing short of heavenly. I can't wait to go back again!

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from the city center along the Thames Path. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great selection to choose from. the room I stayed in was newly refurbished and in good condition.

The room design felt a little dated, especially compared to what was shown in the pictures when I booked. the system of room numbering was a bit confusing and it was easy to get lost in the hotel.

The hotel had a great location, with plenty of free parking available. the leisure facilities were well-equipped and clean, providing a nice space to relax. the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, offering a good variety of options.

While the room was a good size, it could have used some maintenance and the bathroom needed a deep clean. Some of the staff were unhelpful, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel boasts a great location only a short walk from the town center. It’s also close to an average High Street ‘steak house,’ perfect for a quick meal. The walk into town down the river is lovely and there’s also a nice view from some rooms. The breakfast was excellent with a range of options and great coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The prices for the drinks were overpriced and could have been improved.

We had a great stay here! The location was superb, nestled in parklands which made it very peaceful overnight, and yet still ideally situated to walk in and around the area. The service was fantastic, from the friendly staff, who went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. The room itself was luxurious and had everything we needed, from comfy beds to great amenities like air conditioning and mini-bar.

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with all the amenities.

The swimming pool and sauna were perfect after a long day of sightseeing. Although there was a small issue with the TV, the staff promptly fixed it. we recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The birthday city break at this hotel was just superb. the room was sumptuous, well-equipped, and very clean. We had everything we needed from tea and coffee to a mini-bar. the location was perfect as we were walking distance from the city center. the hotel was situated in a beautiful location with stunning views over fields.

I have to say the parking charge was a bit of a letdown as we had to pay £7.50 every 24hrs. it would have been nice if there were more towels available in the room upon arrival, as we had to request more.
