The value for money was great at Padarn Hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, with comfortable beds and a spacious layout. The location was amazing, right in the center with all the facilities we needed nearby. The staff were friendly, the initial duty manager was polite, and the catering staff made us feel welcome. The hotel also had a bonus kids area, which was a nice touch.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and good quality linens and towels. the breakfasts and evening meals were generous and well cooked, offering a varied menu. the location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to fly fishing, coarse fishing, and sea fishing, as well as all the attractions Snowdonia has to offer.

The decor in some areas of the hotel, including the hallways and rooms, was tired and in need of a refresh. Some fixtures and fittings were loose and tatty.

Our romantic escape was disrupted by unnecessary noise from other guests and the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. the small bathroom and minimal amenities were also disappointing.

Additionally, the sports bar nearby provides a lively atmosphere for sports enthusiasts. Moreover, being surrounded by majestic mountains creates a picturesque backdrop for nature lovers.

This hotel in Snowdonia exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us and our dog feel welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy, with everything we needed, including a kettle and tea/coffee/biscuits. The location was perfect, at the far end of town and close to the lake, offering lovely views of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and included in the pre-booked rate, with the sausages being a particular highlight. We felt that the hotel offered great value for money.
