The hotel also offers plenty of car parking space and good wheelchair accessibility.

The mattresses seemed to sink in the middle, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

As young families, we loved the friendly staff, delicious food, and picturesque surroundings. The room was clean and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The Sunday night carvery was a highlight, and the location right beside the bus stop made exploring Durham easy. we were pleased with our stay and would come back if in the area.

I recently stayed at Park Head for a weekend getaway. The location was excellent, with plenty of dining options on-site, including a fabulous carvery and steak house. The room exceeded my expectations in size and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. The breakfast was a nice touch and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also loved the charming courtyard, where I had the unique experience of being dive-bombed by friendly swallows!

I recently stayed at Park Head Hotel for a few nights and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed and plenty of natural light. I also loved the hot bath - it was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The dinner at the restaurant was superb, with the steak and venison cooked to perfection. The hotel grounds were beautiful, with fire pits, a beer garden, and a children's play area. The views surrounding the hotel were also stunning. a great stay at a lovely, clean hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Bishop Auckland. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The room could do with a bit of an update as the décor looked a bit dated and worn out. The selection of cereals at breakfast could have been better. It would have been great to have air conditioning in the room to help sleep in the hot weather, and the traffic noise from the nearby road was quite loud.
