The facilities were good, the staff were really nice and considerate, the hotel was clean on arrival, and the design of the room was great with twin ropes. However, we experienced issues with a rude receptionist and security guard at 2AM, foul smells, disruptive parties, and broken window locks. Despite these challenges, the staff were lovely and the room design was impressive.

The hotel had such charming decor, with lovely floral arrangements and cozy seating areas in the lobby - perfect for us seniors to relax and have a cup of tea. the easy accessibility with spacious corridors and helpful staff made it a breeze to navigate around, catering well to older guests like me.

I wish the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

I really loved the warm welcome from all staff when I entered Mercure Birmingham West Hotel. Despite a small room, the bed provided a wonderful night's sleep. the spa and wellness center, including sauna and indoor pool, added to relaxation. Nearby landmarks like Shree Krishna Mandir and RSPB Sandwell Valley allowed for family bonding. An unfortunate lack of cleanliness and communication hindered the experience.

the room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed. breakfast was tasty with plenty of hot food available, and the hotel itself was well-maintained and pleasant-smelling. convenient location for football fans, just a short walk to the stadium. overall, a great experience.

The room was nicely decorated, with a huge TV, coffee facilities, and a comfortable bed. the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided. the staff were exceptional and helpful, especially during a pet emergency. Good breakfast selection and free parking available.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. the staff at the reception desk were wonderful and provided excellent customer service. the room service was prompt and efficient. the in-room breakfast was delicious, and the bar area was cozy and relaxing. the spa and wellness centre was a highlight, with a beautiful indoor swimming pool and sauna. the massage and facial treatments were very rejuvenating. the staff also offered tours and ticket assistance, which was convenient. the atmosphere was welcoming and the garden area was a nice touch near Birmingham city centre.

One thing that could be improved is the shower temperature consistency. At times, it took a while for the water to heat up, which was slightly inconvenient.

The database at the hotel was very user-friendly and efficient, making it easy for me to find all the information I needed quickly. the room phone had excellent sound quality, allowing me to talk with loved ones for hours without any interruptions.

The bed area seemed like a pet had been kept there before, as there were some stray hairs on the sheets. the bathroom tiles had some black marks and scum, which was a bit off-putting.

Absolutely mind-blowing stay! Staff were SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful, especially during an emergency. Comfortable beds, lovely room decor, and exceptional customer service. Great food options, excellent spa facilities, and special attention to detail for special occasions. Can't wait to return!
