The location of the cottage was ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean and its attractions. The surroundings were peaceful and the neighborhood was quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere. there was ample parking available, making it convenient for guests with their own vehicles.

The bathroom being located downstairs could be inconvenient, especially for those who needed to use it during the night.

Peacock Cottage was a warm and cozy sanctuary during our stay, providing everything we needed for a comfortable experience. The view from the bedroom window overlooking the forest was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the vibrant autumn colors. The location was perfect, central to all the attractions in the Forest of Dean, and we will definitely choose this cottage again for future visits.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage in the Forest of Dean. The interior was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the cosy log fire and the well-equipped kitchen. The large back garden and terraced seating area were perfect for enjoying meals outside. The location was ideal, with easy access to the Forest of Dean and its attractions.

The only minor issue we encountered was the small sink in the bathroom.

A delightful escape! Loved the outdoor activities nearby and the charming garden with a BBQ. Free WiFi and private parking provided, how generous! Just a shame the airport was a mere 49km away, so inconvenient.

I had a fantastic stay at this very warm and comfortable cottage. It had everything I needed, including tea bags, coffee, sugar. The cottage was well-equipped, with even dishwasher tablets provided. The lighting was excellent, and the garden was pleasant and had outdoor seating. The neighborhood was quiet, and there was ample parking available. The location was convenient for exploring the Forest of Dean. I particularly enjoyed the cozy living room and the easy access to the kitchen. The bathroom was nice and clean with a good shower, and the beds were comfortable. The cottage was tidy and clean throughout, and the large garden was a bonus, especially for those with dogs.
