The house is beautifully kept with all the comforts needed for a great stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and the house is clean and warm. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia, with beautiful rural roads and stunning sunset views. We enjoyed seeing sheep all around the property. Colin, the owner, was thoughtful and even gave us gifts.

Pen Y Bont Cottage provided a perfect balance between modern comforts and a cozy cottage atmosphere. the hosts were fantastic, giving us detailed information about the property and great recommendations for things to do in the area. the location was ideal for exploring Snowdonia National Park and taking day trips to nearby towns. the cottage itself was spacious, well-equipped, and felt like a home rather than a rental. I especially loved the log burner, which made for a cozy evening after a long day of exploring. it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely go back.

the cottage was even better than expected - spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The welcome gift of local fruit bread, prosecco, and chocolates was a lovely touch. The comfortable bed and fresh white linen made for a restful sleep. The back garden with furniture was a nice bonus, although we didn't have time to use it. Colin and Amanda were helpful hosts, providing any information we needed. We would definitely recommend this cottage!

heating upstairs wasn't working

exceeded expectations during this crab fest! the decor was gorgeous, beds comfy, kitchen well-equipped, and the location perfect for exploring Snowdonia. felt like home with thoughtful touches, Netflix, games, and a working coffee machine. hosts were helpful and provided great recommendations. a memorable stay that we would love to return to.

lampshades in lounge were a bit low

My recent stay at a charming cottage in North Wales was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home in this cozy and beautifully decorated property. The hosts had thoughtfully provided all the necessary amenities and even added special touches like games, DVDs, and an Alexa device. It truly felt like staying in the house of good friends. The information bundle provided by the host was not only informative but also filled with charm and humor. The comfortable bedrooms, complete with electric blankets, made for a restful night's sleep. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a faulty heating system and low clearance lampshades , these did not dampen my overall experience. The location was convenient, although the proximity to a busy road made accessing the property a bit challenging. However, the beautiful surroundings more than made up for it. Spending evenings by the log burner, sipping wine and enjoying the cozy atmosphere, was a real treat. I would highly recommend this wonderful cottage to anyone visiting the area. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return in the future.
