Our stay at Pennygate Lodge was worth every penny. The room was spacious, the shower room was top-notch, and the sea views from the window were stunning. The hosts, Fiona and Tony, were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast experience would have been even better with a wider variety of options.

We stumbled upon a little gem called Pennygate Lodge in an ideal location near the ferry pier. The views over the Sound are lovely. The bedroom was cozy, with an extremely comfortable bed. Our hosts, Tony and Fi, were friendly and helpful. We decided to dine at the lodge for the first night and were treated to an exceptional, Michelin-worthy meal. We were so impressed that we stayed for a second night, which was equally excellent. The recent refurbishment of the lodge is evident in the tasteful styling and attention to detail. Our room was well-appointed, with a fantastic en suite shower room. The design of the bedrooms shows a lot of thought, with convenient plug points on either side of the bed for charging phones and versatile bedside lights. The comfortable bed and crisp, soft bed linen made for a heavenly night's sleep. Tony and the young waitress provided excellent service during breakfast, which was delicious. We feel incredibly lucky to have found and stayed at Pennygate Lodge, and we highly recommend this establishment.

This hotel was a hidden gem on our trip to the Isle of Mull. The attention to detail and value for money were outstanding. The location was perfect, just minutes from the ferry, with stunning views overlooking the bay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home. The rooms on the first floor were spacious and well-appointed, with a large luxurious bathroom. And let me tell you, the breakfast included was incredible - the best bacon we've ever had!

Beautifully restored 1830's manse with stunning views. Close to ferry terminal and equidistant from Tobermory and Iona boats. Attention to detail, with fresh coffee in rooms and fluffy bath towels. Delicious breakfast options with homemade jams. Fresh water makes the tea taste amazing.

This hotel is a hidden gem on Mull, offering fantastic value for money and attention to detail. The location of the hotel is ideal, being close to the village and ferry terminal, allowing easy access to explore the entire island. The rooms on the top floor provide stunning sea views and are both clean and comfortable, with luxurious bathrooms. The breakfast, prepared by an excellent chef using superb local produce, is a highlight of the stay, showcasing delicious dishes made with care using seasonal and local ingredients.

All was absolutely fine and met our expectations.

We recently stayed at a hotel on the Isle of Mull and we were impressed by the stunning scenery surrounding the property. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely bathroom and modern amenities. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was located within easy walking distance of several restaurants and shops.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. Although the hotel was well-maintained and clean, we found that the breakfast was fairly basic and we were expecting a little more variety.

pennygate lodge in craignure was even better than my previous stay! stunning room, amazing attention to detail, and mouthwatering breakfast and dinner. the owners and staff were welcoming and attentive. a truly wonderful experience that i highly recommend.

We were delighted with the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Pennygate Lodge. The attention to detail in our room was exceptional, from the luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen to the soft lighting in the bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised by the little touches, like freshly baked biscuits and make-up remover provided. The breakfast options were delicious, with homemade jams and berries adding a delightful touch. The breathtaking view of the sea and harbour from our window was truly enchanting. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was incredibly spacious and had stunning views. The decor was thoughtful and well-done. The hosts were amazing and made our stay memorable.

The breakfast options were limited, especially if you don't prefer a cooked breakfast. Furthermore, on one occasion, the toast was cold and chewy.

Located very close to the ferry pier with lovely views out over the Sound. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated, with luxurious sheets and fluffy towels. The bathroom has a spacious and efficient shower. The hosts, Fiona and Tony, are welcoming and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and cooked to order. The lounge offers a wide variety of gins and whiskies. Wildlife such as deer, sea eagles, otters, and seals can be spotted in the vicinity.

The chef is off on Mondays and Tuesdays, so dining at the lodge may not be possible on those days.
