We loved the unique mix of antique and contemporary decor in the hotel, creating a tasteful atmosphere. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and ample bathroom amenities. The hosts were a lovely couple, making us feel welcome and even giving us a birthday card. The location of the hotel was perfect, being close to local attractions such as Tenby, Blue Lagoon, and Folly Farm, without the expensive prices of staying in the heart of Tenby. The hotel also had convenient parking facilities and beautiful countryside surroundings, allowing us to take walks among the horses.

Exceeded expectations, very personal touch, and Holly was so accommodating. Our room was tastefully decorated and had a gorgeous bathroom with the biggest shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was lovely and quiet, but still easily accessible from main roads. It was great to see horses on site, adding to the rustic feel. We also enjoyed a delicious full English/Welsh breakfast cooked to order and a late breakfast time.

If I had to nitpick, the scrambled eggs were a bit well done, but that's just personal preference. The only note for improvement is that the property may not be suitable for those with disabilities, as it is an older, period property without specific accessibility features.

our stay at picton-house was even better than our previous visit to llandowror. from the moment we arrived, helen and holly made us feel like family. the beautifully restored hotel had a lovely atmosphere, and the homemade meals were delicious, rivaling expensive restaurants. everything was perfect.

The location of this hotel is perfect, as it is close to the highway and all major attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and well-decorated interiors. The bathrooms are also of good quality and impeccably maintained. The service provided by the staff is outstanding: they are friendly, amenable, and make you feel welcome. The breakfast offered is extensive, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices, and a cooked breakfast.

Some minor noise from passing cars in the morning and other guests in the evening can be heard.
