sweet rose cottage was a romantic chocolate box hideaway. Martin and Kim thought of everything, from the cozy bedroom with a luxurious bath to the well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect for exploring with a bus stop nearby. The hosts provided tons of helpful information and even let us check in early.

Narrow staircase made it difficult to carry luggage.

The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and they provide a thoughtful welcome pack. The facilities are amazing, with cozy interiors and a fun twist of a bathtub in the bedroom. The beds and sofas are incredibly comfortable, and the shared courtyard and garden are charming. It's within walking distance to convenience stores and take-aways. It serves as a great base for visiting Babbacombe cliff railway, Sheldon, Teignmouth, and Dawlish. The steam railway to Dartmouth is highly recommended, and Coleton Fishacre NT property offers stunning gardens and sea views.

Our stay at Sweet Rose Cottage in Torquay was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and welcomed. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and delicious biscuits. The attention to detail in the cottage was impeccable, from the comfortable bed and luxurious bedding to the deep freestanding bath in the beautiful bedroom upstairs. We also enjoyed spending time in the cottage garden, which added to the romantic atmosphere. The location was perfect, with easy access to both walking trails and public transportation. We appreciated the wealth of information provided by Martin and Kim, which made it easy to plan our activities and dining options. Sweet Rose Cottage was a true chocolate box piece of heaven.
