The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens to explore. We loved walking around and admiring the scenery. the presence of wildlife, such as ducks, was a lovely bonus. the room itself was nice and had all the necessary amenities we needed.

While the room was comfortable, we did have some issues. the sofa was extremely uncomfortable and the bed and pillows were not great, leading to a bad night's sleep and a sore neck and back.

While the property was dog-friendly, there was no designated area for dogs to exercise off the lead. the heating in our apartment did not come on in the evening, leaving us feeling cold, and the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired.

The cottage itself was perfect for two people, with ample space and all the necessary amenities. The views from the cottage were beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the stay.

I have to mention that the cleanliness of the cottage was very poor. There were bits stuck to our feet upon arrival, indicating that the floor had not been properly cleaned.

Our cottage was much smaller than expected and part of a block of four, which was not what we had anticipated. the cooking facilities were limited, with only a microwave and two electric rings, making it difficult to prepare meals for our five-day stay.

The gardens were surprisingly well-maintained even in winter, a testament to the hard work of the dedicated gardeners. The self-contained single-story "apartment" was clean, modern, and comfortable. The living area with a kitchenette, table, and chairs, as well as the TV, provided all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, although not included, was delicious and delivered right to my door by the lovely ladies. The ample parking and on-site coffee shop were convenient additions to enhance my stay.
