our overnight stay at a beautiful manor in dolwyddelan exceeded all expectations. the spacious suite with 2 bathrooms was perfect for our family. the hosts were warm and helpful, the grounds were stunning, and the cooked breakfast was delicious. highly recommended!

The rooms were located on higher floors, which meant hauling our bags up the stairs. The breakfast, although included in the price, could have been better in terms of variety and options.

Lovely hotel, under renovation but our 2 bedroom family suite was complete. Good location, remote yet not far to drive anywhere. Owners gave us useful information. Great homemade breakfast. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

The entrance is under construction, which can be slightly off-putting, but don't let it deter you. some rooms may need minor improvements such as a fridge and tightened shower fixture.

We recently stayed at a beautiful historic hotel/B&B in Wales and it was by far the best place we've ever stayed. the suite was more like an apartment, with two on-suite bedrooms and a family room, and it was modern, comfortable, and clean. the owners were incredibly nice and even included free snacks in the room. the location was perfect for exploring Snowden and other parts of Wales, and the nearby town of Betws-y-Coed had great restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend Plas Penaeldroch Manor for a peaceful and memorable stay.

For us it was ideal.

This hotel is located in a stunning area, with breathtaking views of the river and mountains. It's conveniently located near Pont-y-Pant railway station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms on the second and top floors offer lovely views onto the beautiful Welsh countryside, and some even have two bathrooms. The breakfast options are plentiful and varied, or you can opt for a delicious full English breakfast at a very reasonable price.

We had one of the best stays in Wales at this hotel/B&B. The suite was more like an apartment with two on-suite bedrooms and a family room. It was modern, comfortable, quiet, clean, and secure. The owners were incredibly nice and even provided free snacks in the room. They also included my wife in morning dog walks in the forest with our service dog. The location was convenient for visiting many of Snowdonia's top attractions and the nearby town of Betws y Coed had great restaurants and shops. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and a delicious cooked vegetarian option for a small additional cost. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at a great apartment style accommodation near Snowdonia's top attractions. the rooms were recently refurbished and had comfortable beds. the living room had a good TV and there were nice touches like fresh fruit and a bag of mini eggs. the owners were friendly and the hotel is being renovated into a state-of-the-art property. the hotel is dog-friendly and the breakfast was excellent. it was a suitable and unique stay for our family.

We had a romantic escape in a charming countryside retreat. the hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. They provided us with helpful information about nearby attractions and even recommended a great local restaurant. Our room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Plus, the stunning scenery surrounding the hotel made our stay even more special.

There weren't many choices for those with dietary restrictions, which was a letdown. the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected to the outside world.
