I stayed at Plawsworth Hall for a business trip and it was perfect. The serviced apartment I stayed in was clean, spacious, and warm. The two bathrooms, comfortable beds, and fully stocked kitchen were all great features. The owners were welcoming and always available. The location near the A167 was convenient for exploring the North East, with a great bus service to Durham and Newcastle. The Red Lion Pub nearby was a nice bonus too.

I recently stayed at Plawsworth Hall in Durham for a weekend getaway. The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed, including a great shower with a fixed ideal temperature. The location was peaceful and serene, perfect for a relaxing break. The complex had picnic areas to enjoy the afternoon sun, and the hosts provided a warm welcome and departure. The property was conveniently located just off the main road, allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay. The surrounding countryside offered stunning views and plenty of things to do within a short distance, such as visiting High Force, Penshaw Monument, and the Angel of the North.

We stayed at Plawsworth Hall for a short visit with our grandkids and were pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade to a spacious 2-bedroom cottage. The property was in pristine condition, with a well-equipped kitchen/diner and comfy beds. The location was beautiful, overlooking fields and close to both Beamish museum and a nice eating pub. The hosts were friendly and the outside areas well-maintained. Highly recommended.
