This hotel is a great choice for a holiday, offering excellent value for money. The rooms are stylishly decorated and have a balcony with amazing sea views. The location is perfect, right on the edge of Exmoor national park and a short walk to the shops, cafes, and the beautiful Coombe Martin beach. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and breakfast is delicious with a view of the sea.

my recent stay in combe martin was made even better by the incredible hospitality at poplars guest house. Jan and Neil went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, from inviting us to a barbecue to providing a clean and tastefully decorated room with a balcony and sea view. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed my New Year at a cozy and friendly guesthouse. the hosts were knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved that it was cooked to order. the location was perfect as we could easily access the nearby beach and village. the car parking facility was an added advantage for us.

The shower room was on the small side, which made it a little difficult to move around, but it was functional and didn't bother us much. the decor was slightly outdated, but that didn't affect our overall experience.

We had an amazing stay at a guesthouse with excellent hosts, breathtaking sea views, and delicious breakfasts for both humans and dogs. The room was modern and quirky, and the outdoor pool was a great addition. The WiFi signal was strong, unlike other places we stayed in the area.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the owners, Jan and Neill. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home and relaxed. The accommodation was perfect, with a stunning balcony room that offered breathtaking views of the pool area and the sea. The hotel also had a cozy bar/lounge area with an open fire, a beautiful pool to relax by on sunny days, and a tastefully decorated dining room for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and satisfying. We truly felt like part of the family, and even our furry friend was spoiled with her very own sausage every morning. This is, without a doubt, the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Couldn't fault

The value for money at this hotel was very good, especially considering the lovely sea view from the balcony. The location was excellent, being very close to the beach and town centre, making it easy to walk to get some good pub grub and sit and watch the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities provided were satisfactory. The room, although a bit small, was comfortable and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast served was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

This hotel is a hidden gem! With stunning views from the balcony, close proximity to the beach and town center, and excellent service, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast, prepared with top quality ingredients, was first-rate.
