The hosts were warm and welcoming, providing a great atmosphere for families. the rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely views of the town. The breakfast selection was exceptional, catering to both kids and adults with delicious options. Cons: For dads, it would be great to have a small play area for kids.

Just stayed at a charming B&B close to the lake district. LOVED the locally sourced breakfast! Comfy bed with amazing views - better in person! Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed the exceptional breakfast, cleanliness, and convenient location in walking proximity to the town center and the Lake District.

Nothing to fault.

We hit up the Hotel Triplets Entertainment and the party vibes were off the charts. From the dance floor to the DJ, we were living our best teenage life. Plus, the breakfast spread was absolute fire!

The only bummer was we wished there was a cool rooftop hangout spot overlooking Keswick where we could chill and enjoy the night vibes with our squad.

Recently stayed at this welcoming B&B for a solo trip. Comfortable single room with tea/coffee facilities, fresh milk, and a hot shower. Lovely hosts, delicious breakfast with various options, and convenient location just a short walk from the town center. Ample on-street parking nearby. Will definitely return next year.

The breakfast room with double aspect windows was a delightful start to the day – like dining in a sunlit oasis. the super king-size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring a restful night's sleep. the award-winning breakfast tasted like a symphony of flavors, especially the vegetarian options with delicate, savory notes.

My second stay at Portland House was delightful. Colin and Sarah were so welcoming, the breakfast was top-notch, and the room had great amenities. Parking was a bit tight and the coffee could be better, but the shower was good. a lovely B&B close to town with friendly hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at a B&B in Keswick for our walking, running, and drinking weekend. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, even making us a late bacon and sausage sandwich after our Parkrun. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we loved the homemade cakes and flapjacks available all day. a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

The room was fantastic with a standout shower. Breakfast was incredible, especially the fruit salad. The location is fabulous. Colin and Sarah went above and beyond in helping us with little things throughout our stay.

Felt so taken care of, no complaint.
