Excellent breakfast, perfectly cooked food, accommodating staff. Good variety, high standards. Nice conversation, attentive to guests. Baggage assistance. Correspondence for early check-in. Beautiful, easy parking, clean, well cared for property. Fantastic breakfast, kept me going all day. Comfortable bed, perfect temperature. Felt extremely safe, very quiet. Attractive, thoughtfully decorated period property. Spacious room, everything needed. Superb breakfast. Extra facilities: parking, lounge, garden. Made to feel welcome. Nicer, more modern room than expected.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the town center. The room was spacious and attractively decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast served was of high quality, with a good variety of options to choose from. The facilities such as parking, lounge, and garden added to the overall enjoyment of the stay.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, with some stains and limescale present.

We chose Portman Lodge for the excellent breakfast and were not disappointed. The English Breakfast was exactly what my husband wanted to experience. Neal, the staff member, was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room exceeded our expectations with its modern and comfortable amenities. The Victorian lodge had a distinct charm and character, and the spacious room with the lovely en suite bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. we had a lovely time at Portman Lodge, thanks to the delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings.

Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Portman Lodge. The beautiful Victorian lodge exuded charm and character, and our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely en suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we were treated to a delicious cooked breakfast with plenty of choices. The period property was thoughtfully decorated, and the extra facilities, including car parking, a lounge. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit.

Would recommend this hotel.
