I recently stayed at the Portway Inn for a weekend getaway and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a choice of pillows for a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was roomy and the shower was excellent. The bar downstairs had a friendly atmosphere, and the restaurant offered a great selection of tasty meals at good value. I highly recommend the Portway Inn for its cleanliness, comfort, and delicious food.

We stayed at a charming inn for our trip, located near the river and just a short drive from Hay-on-Wye and Hereford. The staff were very helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the serene view of the river. The inn also had a cozy bar with an open fire and served great food, including vegetarian options.

The water pressure in the room could have been better.

my second stay in hereford was even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful experience at portway inn. the staff, from sarah at check-in to the restaurant team, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and focused on customer satisfaction. the room was clean, unique, and had everything we needed. the breakfast was delicious and had great options, especially for vegetarians. overall, the stay was excellent and the location was perfect for exploring the coast.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel in between Hay on Wye and Hereford with lovely views. The room was spacious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Our recent stay at the inn was a delight from start to finish. The spacious and comfortable rooms provided the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food in the bar was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. We particularly enjoyed dining in the lovely beer garden with our dog, who had plenty of space to run around. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The only drawback was the slightly dated furniture in the room, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay. we had a fantastic time and would happily return in the future.
