The location of this hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the town and being a great stopover for exploring the nearby national park. The staff at this hotel were very pleasant, conscientious, and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and cool, which was much appreciated during the hot weather.

The noise from smokers congregating outside the restaurant, making it difficult to open the window.

Great location, close to main shopping street and easy reach of the Lake District. Reasonable parking fee of £5 for 24 hours.-Comfortable and clean rooms

No lift/elevator, difficult if you have physical difficulties. Cooling/heating only blew out cold air, made it difficult to dry towels.

The proximity to these amenities and natural surroundings is definitely a plus for guests staying at this hotel.

One drawback is the limited parking available. The spaces outside the hotel tend to fill up quickly, especially during peak periods when many guests use the hotel as a base for exploring the Lake District.
