The basic amenities provided in the rooms on the first floor, which faced the river, were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. Great location and helpful staff. the hotel is situated right next to a famous bridge. You could almost read the Tyne Bridge signs from the hotel bar! Bonus: There are a lot of bars and restaurants around. the hotel staff were happy to help us out with whatever we needed.
