We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, located on a busy section of the A20. The service from the staff was top-notch, and they were very understanding and accommodating when we arrived later than planned. The room was comfortable and had great amenities, including ironing facilities and tea and coffee-making facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The owners were friendly and super helpful, providing great recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring the nearby Charles Darwin family home and other attractions in the area. this place provided the perfect base for our sightseeing adventures.

I recently stayed at Pretty Maid House B&B for a few nights and it was a fantastic experience. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly, ensuring great communication throughout my stay. The room was lovely, spacious, and surprisingly quiet considering its location on a busy A road. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast - hands down the BEST eggs benedict I have ever tasted. I would return to this B&B just for breakfast, even if fully booked!

The owners, Sue and Andy, were incredibly attentive and even upgraded our room to a suite with a wet room, perfect for my needs as a person with Multiple Sclerosis. The room itself was spacious and had a comfortable, king-sized bed. The shower was easy to use and had a shower seat for those who needed it. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of options including eggs Benedictine and a choice between a lite or full English breakfast. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, from the selection of toiletries to the real coffee bags provided. Sue and Andy were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby restaurants. I highly recommend Pretty Maid House B&B for anyone looking for a wonderful, accommodating stay.

New Year's Eve at this B&B was absolutely fantastic. It was amazing to see the key attractions nearby, including the gorgeous countryside and the local restaurants and bars. After a long day of exploring, it was great to come back to a comfortable and cozy room. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, offering a delicious array of food. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about our stay. The only thing that could have improved was the weather, as it was quite cold and rainy during our visit. However, the B&B offered a warm and comfortable atmosphere that more than made up for any outside factors. our New Year's Eve experience at this B&B was one for the books and we cannot wait to come back again.
