The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with original roof beams. Bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. Communication from the host was excellent and check-in procedures were easy. The breakfast was outstanding with a good variety and freshly cooked every morning. The hotel had a pleasant smell and was sparkling clean. Onsite parking was available. It was a short walk downhill to the center of this city, which was worth stopping for.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel on the outskirts of a charming seaside town. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the attention to detail in the rooms was noticeable. I particularly loved the little thoughtful touches from Wendy, such as the comfortable sofa and the very comfy bed. The breakfast offered was also delicious and a great way to start the day.

There was nothing worth mentioning that could be improved during my stay.

What a great weekend! the room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and lovely views. the breakfast was delicious, particularly the locally sourced sausages and bacon. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the town center and with free parking available.

The bathroom was shared but it wasn't a big issue as it was cleaned regularly. the only downside was the climb up the hill to get to the hotel, but the affordable taxi ride back up was worth it for the peaceful location and stunning views.

We loved the fabulous, clean, and hygienic rooms at this accommodation. The house lady, Wendy, was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the mountain where the abbey of Whitby is located was beautiful. As adventure travelers, we appreciated the convenient 15-minute walk to the town centre.

I recently stayed at Prospect House in Whitby for a day's visit. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also a good size with a decent shower. The location was ideal, just a short drive to the town centre. The host, Wendy, was friendly and responsive, providing decaf tea and coffee upon request. The property was in a safe area and had ample car parking space. I had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here in the future.
