The location of the cottage is convenient, being close to amenities and places of interest. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated. The kitchen is equipped with matching crockery and cutlery. The cottage is clean and well-prepared for guests. The shower is good and there is an extra lounge room on the top floor. The owners are helpful and accommodating.

It can get quite hot indoors, especially without room fans during sunny weeks.

our recent stay in kirkcudbright was amazing! providence cottage surpassed all expectations. the beautifully decorated rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and cozy attic lounge were a perfect fit for our family. we loved exploring the charming town and the central location made it easy. we can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage in the centre of town. The location was absolutely amazing, with lots of picturesque coastal walks and lovely little towns to visit nearby. The cottage itself was tastefully and artistically decorated, with a luxurious yet Scottish twist. The kitchen was well provisioned, and the attic room was a unique and relaxing space. We appreciated the abundance of local information available, as well as the provided maps, books, DVDs. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Quirky with surprise extra lounge. Owners made twin room into king size. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking. High standard, spacious rooms. Quality decor, matching crockery. Exciting 'secret room' for children. Toasty-warm heating, good hot water

had a fantastic time exploring kirkcudbright, with its charming town and beautiful coastal walks. stayed at a well-equipped and beautifully decorated cottage that exceeded my expectations. loved the top room for kids - a fun and exciting space. would definitely stay again!
