We had a great time during our recent stay at Purdy Lodge. The location was perfect for exploring the coastal areas we wanted to visit. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was of good quality. We will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in the area. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I stayed at Purdy Lodge for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast, made with local produce, was the best I've had in years. The hotel's convenient location off the main road offered a fantastic view from my bedroom window, with Bamburgh castle in the distance. our stay at Purdy Lodge was fantastic! As a central location for exploring the Northumberland Coast, we had easy access to beautiful places like Berwick-upon-Tweed, Alnwick, Seahouses, and Bamburgh. The highlight of our staycation was spotting wild Bull Nosed Dolphins and Seals just off the pier in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The lodge itself was a great place to stay, with friendly and professional staff. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, was of good quality, and the bar had a good selection of drinks. The premises were well-maintained, with clean rooms and daily tea/coffee service. The lodge also welcomed dogs, which was a big plus for us.

Purdy Lodge was the perfect base for exploring nearby attractions like Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle and Garden. The hotel room was cosy and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, even driving us to a wedding venue when taxis were unavailable. The adjacent coffee shop had a great selection of pastries and coffee.
