Michelle and Matt were excellent hosts, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the bedroom was cozy and beautifully decorated, with top quality linen on the bed. the pub had a friendly atmosphere, with a small bar and dining room with open fires. the food was amazing, with a menu that impressed me and a meal that was among the best I've had in a long time. the staff were attentive and even made me a packed lunch when I had to leave early. a delightful and enjoyable experience.

I recently stayed at Queens Arms and it was a delightful experience. The charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms made for a memorable stay. The pub downstairs was a lively spot with locals and their furry companions, offering delicious food and their own award-winning beer. The little touches, like fresh coffee and a jar of cookies in the room, were greatly appreciated. The staff even went the extra mile by preparing a packed lunch for us when we had to leave early for a hike. Truly a special place!

Stayed in a remote 17th century pub, small rooms but adequate. No mobile signal, which was a bonus. WIFI in rooms for streaming or downloading. Lots of local walks. Good local ales and drinks, lovely bar with open fire. Excellent breakfast, extensive menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

Felt extremely welcome, nothing to complain about.

the bedroom was small but beautifully decorated with top quality linen and had tea making facilities. the pub and dining room downstairs had a welcoming open fire and a great atmosphere. the menu was impressive and our meal was one of the best we've had in a long time. Matt is a superb chef. the staff were attentive and the breakfast was excellent.

The Christmas atmosphere was delightful and really put us in the festive spirit. the food was delicious, with a good selection of drinks on offer. the location was ideal for those looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning countryside views. We also appreciated the friendly staff who made us feel very welcome.

The room was slightly dated and could have done with some modernisation. the heating system was a bit too warm for our liking.
