I stayed at the Queen's Head Inn for one night en route to Scotland. The location was convenient, with easy access from the motorway but far enough away to be quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had good facilities. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and generous portions. The bar had a good selection and prompt service, even when busy. a great experience.

The Queens Head Inn in Tirril is a solo traveler's dream. The breakfast was superb, and the evening dinner was delicious. There are plenty of outside sitting areas and cozy corners in the bar for privacy. The room was excellent with modern decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and the rural setting ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The friendly and professional staff in the bar and reception made the stay even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful inn in Penrith. The value for money was great, and the rooms were beautifully furnished with a comfy bed and lovely shower. The location offered breathtaking views, and the staff were attentive and helpful, even accommodating our last-minute bike storage request.

The location was excellent, just far enough out to be quieter but still convenient for meeting family in Pooley Bridge. The property had a nice, traditional feel and the recently refurbished room I stayed in was stylish and comfortable. I appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary tea and coffee with delicious shortbread biscuits. The breakfasts were generous and tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the lovely yogurt. The staff were all fantastic and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at Queens Head Inn, Tirril was a pleasant experience. The breakfast choices were good and the quality and quantity were spot on. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the effort of Jay, the head chef, who not only ran the place efficiently but also served delicious breakfasts. The welcoming staff added to the positive experience.

I did find the plumbing system, equipped with noisy macerators, slightly inconvenient. Additionally, there were a few missing items during breakfast, which could be attributed to a shortage of staff.

The hotel was warm, comfortable, and with friendly staff. The food was good quality. The inn boasts an atmosphere fitting of the beautiful area, putting the guests in a straightforward and old-fashioned manner. The bathrooms are clean, although you could expect noise from the wastewater flushing system also to disturb your sleep.

Evening check-in stops early, which may be reasonable if you're staying nearby. Still, it could be frustrating if you're arriving by evening and having difficulties finding the location or getting there late.

The access to the bedrooms was a bit steep and narrow, which may be expected for an old inn. There was some road noise, as most of the bedrooms faced the road.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely country pub with a nice bar and restaurant area. The rooms had recently been refurbished, were small but comfortable and spotless. We were impressed by the excellent food and service, with a good choice for the evening meal and an enjoyable breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help us with a smile. The hotel's location was great, surrounded by open fields and with easy access to transportation. We would be happy to come back next time we're visiting the Lakes.
