My recent business trip brought me to Queensmead Hotel in Shanklin, recommended by my director. the family running the hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating, always going the extra mile for their guests. the rooms, although a bit dated, are clean and comfortable, reflecting ongoing updates at the property. the delicious breakfast and well-maintained outdoor pool were definite highlights. the convenient location near the old town and the sea added to the overall pleasant experience.

Bathroom layout felt cramped, hindering comfort.

Great location for local and island sights. Choice of 3 courses for each meal at a reasonable cost. Excellent young staff who go above and beyond. Clean and tidy hotel with a wide variety of drinks at the bar.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Queensmead. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the local sights and nearby islands. The hotel's dining options were impressive, offering a variety of delicious meals at a reasonable cost. The young and dedicated staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, even purchasing a special avocado for my wife's breakfast. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, and the bar had a wide selection of drinks. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Absolutely smashing stay , from jaw, dropping decor to the luvly staff and fab breakfast! Starting the day with a delightful a la carte breakfast amidst a super STUNNING lounge area was a true treat. the on, site heated pool and car park only added to the overall satisfaction of my visit. the room, while spacious, is set to be mind, blowing once the refurbishment is complete. Can't wait to revisit! .

The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me and my furry friend feel right at home. the location was perfect for dog owners, with easy access to the beach and nearby park. the cleanliness could be improved, especially in terms of housekeeping services.

the hotel is ultra clean, with fantastic rooms that have fresh bedding and plenty of storage. the view from the room was great, and I also enjoyed spending time in the bar and restaurant area, which was a top place to eat and socialize. the outside area was also impressive, with a bonus swimming pool, plentiful seating, and beautifully manicured gardens with great lighting. the breakfast offered at this hotel was the best I've had in the area. the hosts, Samantha and Simon, and their family, were warm, friendly. I've already booked my return for next month.

This hotel was the perfect choice for our recent city trip. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the major sights of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to offer suggestions or advice. One of the things we liked most about the hotel was the comfortable and spacious rooms which made our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a couple of things we didn't like so much about the hotel. The breakfast could have been better, with limited options and rather small portions. We also found that the noise levels could be quite high at times, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Despite these small drawbacks, we still had a great time overall and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for a city break.

The dining room staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The rooms were clean and had plenty of fresh towels and toiletries provided. The hotel was conveniently located, with easy access to the bus service to explore the surrounding areas. Plus, there was a lovely theatre within walking distance, offering plenty of entertainment options.

We had a couple of sleepless nights due to the noise. The first room we were given had a non-existent soundproofed ceiling, and we could hear people walking and talking above us, and even the sound of peeing into the toilet.

Despite some minor inconveniences like the TV's positioning and lack of sockets in the room, the overall atmosphere and attention to detail were exceptional. The friendly and helpful staff, particularly Shauna, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast, although limited for those not opting for a cooked meal, offered a delicious range including juice, cereal, and prunes. We also appreciated the hotel's assistance during a swimmers itch incident. I highly recommend Queensmead for a lovely and nostalgic getaway.
