the ashton suite exceeded our expectations. the room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a freestanding bath for two that added a charming and romantic touch. the staff went above and beyond to apologize for a canceled dinner by sending us a complimentary bottle of champagne. their customer service and attention to detail made our anniversary truly special.

This hotel offers a luxurious and comfortable stay with exclusive amenities. The room design was stunning and the private facilities were a great touch. The staff provided excellent service and were always on hand to assist with any needs. The restaurant served delicious special diet menus which were impressive. Furthermore, the location was perfect, offering stunning views.

The only minor issue during my stay was that the bar/lounge area was not as spacious as I had hoped for. However, this did not affect my experience in any significant way.

The staff are tops! The restaurant is first rate. Riverside location is excellent, with plenty of options on foot, cycle, or car. Private parking too. Very clean with a modern style and rooms separated by service cupboards so you don't hear your neighbors. The room was exceptional with many extras such as a DVD player and tea/coffee machine. The meals were cooked and presented to a very high standard, both dinner and breakfast. A nice touch was a parking permit allowing us to park at the rear of the hotel for the duration of our stay. The Ashton Suite was probably the loveliest and most spotlessly clean room I've ever stayed in. The upper level had a comfortable bed, lovely decor, and the best thing of all, a freestanding bath made for 2 with little lights on the marble floor around it, which was so charming and romantic. The customer service, privacy, cleanliness, and unique boutique style of the room were all flawless. Great hospitality! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made sure that our stay was memorable. We will definitely be recommending these rooms to any family or friends visiting us in the future. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about our stay. Every aspect of this hotel was exceptional, from the room to the service to the food.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the luxurious and comfortable room, complete with up-to-date technology and a spacious modern bathroom. The quietness of the room made for a restful night, and the restaurant offered delicious home-made breakfast with a large menu to choose from. the friendly and engaging staff made our stay pleasant.

While there was very little not to like, the lack of a washbasin in the WC was a minor drawback. As guests, we had to walk around the bed to the other end of the room to the shower room to wash our hands, which was a slight inconvenience.
