We got great value for our money at Ravenstone Lodge. The room was well presented and the bed was super comfy. The location was fantastic, with beautiful grounds and walks right at our doorstep. The staff were friendly and always happy to help with maps and recommendations. The food at the restaurant was delicious, sourced from local produce. The scenery around the hotel was spectacular and provided a peaceful spot for relaxation.

The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better would be an earlier start time.

Despite the smaller size of the rooms, the hotel is well-maintained and the staff were friendly, helpful and always available when needed. our stay at Ravenstone Lodge Country House was a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Despite arriving late due to a road blockade, the shift manager, Brett, was understanding and even provided us with his mobile number for any after-hours assistance. He kindly provided us with extra milk and even brought us cookies and chocolates to enjoy with our tea. The other staff members, including Tressie, Andy, and Mike, were equally friendly and engaging. The location of the hotel, with a beautiful walk down to the nearby lake, added to the overall wonderful experience.

Lovely quiet location overlooking beautiful fields with sheep. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the stunning views. the warm welcome from the staff member made us feel instantly at ease and excited for our romantic escape. the restaurant manager was extremely helpful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and even taking the time to chat with us. the meal we had in the restaurant was superb, cooked by a talented resident chef. we had a delightful stay and would love to return in the future.

The hotel could benefit from some updating, as the furnishings felt a bit outdated. However, considering the affordable price, we can't really complain.
