We stayed at Ravensworth Arms for 10 nights to visit Beamish and wanted a hotel that offered more than just the usual motorway lodge. This place exceeded our expectations - located just off the A1, it still had a charming country inn feel with a view of the Angel of the North. The dog-friendly amenities were perfect for our furry companion, with a doggy bar, designated areas, and welcoming staff. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and quiet.

The hotel is conveniently located, not far from most places of interest. It is also near the motorway, making it easily accessible. As someone who grew up in the village, I appreciated its proximity to my hometown. The staff provided great service and the basic amenities in the rooms were satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the comfort of the four-poster bed.

The hotel has a cozy pub area with a great atmosphere, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and have comfortable beds. The option to charge meals and drinks to the room was convenient. The breakfast on Sunday was delicious and highly recommended.

Bonus point for the comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

The room was smaller than expected and lacked adequate storage space for our luggage. the heating system was a bit noisy and made it difficult to fall asleep at night.
