The location of this hotel is simply breathtaking. It is situated right on the bridge overlooking the river, providing a picturesque setting. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The staff are attentive and friendly, offering a warm welcome upon arrival. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu, serving perfectly cooked and presented dishes.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. the location was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely view of the river and village. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. the pub downstairs had a great atmosphere and was exactly what I was looking for in a homely country pub. the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and I was delighted to find that the hotel is dog-friendly. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the full breakfast that was included in the price was excellent. a fantastic experience.

Lovely place to stay in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales! The hotel is located right by the river, on the picturesque walking trail. The rooms are cozy, with two small windows offering lovely views. The basic amenities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast, especially the meat eater options, is served on hot plates and of very good quality. this hotel offers great value for money in a stunning location.

The staff, friendly and efficient. Excellent food. Wonderful outdoor patio. Run by one big family. Peaceful and beautiful location. Lots of bar space. Great location.

I recently stayed at the Red Lion Hotel for a weekend getaway. The spacious and well-equipped room offered a great view of the village green and countryside. I enjoyed the excellent and reasonably priced food at the restaurant. The residence lounge was a nice escape from the general public. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring, with various fitness level-friendly walks nearby. The breakfast was delicious, especially the super fresh kippers. The cottage I stayed in was cozy and warm, with a spacious living room and kitchen. The Molton Brown toiletries added a nice finishing touch. The restaurant also had a good selection of local produce.

Nothing everything was great

The food was absolutely delicious and served promptly, leaving us satisfied every time. the location of the hotel was perfect, offering a beautiful setting for our Easter break. We also appreciated the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, making it an enjoyable stay overall.

The compact ensuite shower room, which was a bit cramped for our liking. However, these minor inconveniences did not greatly affect our overall enjoyment of the hotel.

The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. the staff went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs and even showed me the allergen book for the food. the location of the hotel was also fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I had a great dining experience at this hotel.

The room I stayed in was quite tired and in need of some maintenance and cleaning. There were also unwashed glasses in the bar and tables were not cleared promptly.

The hotel had a great location and beautiful surroundings. the food was good and the free parking was a plus. the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room service was quick. the bathroom products were of high quality, I loved it!

We had a terrible check-in experience that ruined our Xmas break. the room wasn't ready until 6.30 pm, despite the advertised check-in time of 3 pm.

For the price we paid, we felt like we got excellent value. The room was really comfortable and spacious, with quirky features like sloping floors and staircases that added charm. The location of the hotel was beautiful, and we were treated with friendliness and professionalism by the staff. The food was also delicious, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The room was lovely, with a kingsize bed, and everything was clean and cared for. The hotel is in a great location, right beside the river Wharf, and is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful hiking trails in the area. The staff were all polite and helpful, and they even let us leave our car in their car park after we checked out so we could continue our walk. The food at the restaurant was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast, with plenty of choice.

We had a wonderful time at Red Lion Hotel! The warm welcome we received made us feel right at home. The bed and pillows were so comfy, we had a great night's sleep. The Molton Brown toiletries added a touch of luxury to our stay. We also appreciated the gluten-free options at breakfast. we highly recommend this hotel for its charm and hospitality.
