The attention to detail, from the gorgeous bedding to the delicious breakfast with the best bacon I have had for ages, is impeccable. The staff are welcoming and service is top-notch, with the owner personally serving the most gorgeous coffee.

I recently had a very good stay at a hotel in a quiet location near Hadrian's Wall. The hotel was conveniently located, being near enough to places I wanted to visit, and nestled between two small villages. The rooms were comfortable and had all the nice touches you need for a break, including ensuite bathrooms with disability rails and some rooms offering a fantastic view over the rolling hills of Northumberland. The service from the staff was excellent, with the owner even serving a delicious breakfast and gorgeous coffee. I must mention the breakfast bacon, which was the best I've had for ages.
