We loved the delicious welcome breakfast pack with local produce, perfect for us as vegetarians and vegans. The peaceful location and lovely atmosphere of The Great Barn was a highlight. The well-placed property allowed for plenty of walks in open country, great for our energetic Labrador. The high-quality finish and thoughtful design in the rooms added a touch of luxury. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The food was positively delightful, a true reflection of East Anglian bounty. The spa and treatments were heavenly. Cozy barn and a warm atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Couldn't find a Michelin-starred restaurant in the middle of nowhere. How inconvenient!

The spa treatments were exceptional and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The dinner in the barn was excellent and the wood fire created a cozy and homely atmosphere. The huts we stayed in were in excellent condition and the decor had a perfect British countryside feel.

The breakfast included in the overnight price was limited and could have offered more variety. The dinner menu in the barn remained the same for our entire stay, which limited our choices.

Retreat East was an incredible value for our money, with beautifully designed and comfortable rooms. The location was ideal for peaceful walks in the countryside, perfect for our energetic Labrador. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and the continental breakfast was a delight.
