A quaint village with birdlife wetlands and a gastro Michelin star restaurant. Beautiful stone towns nearby. Lovely countryside walks. Charming cottage for family meet-ups or business trips.

Oh, there was absolutely nothing to dislike about my stay. How disappointing.

We got great value for our money at River Nene Cottages. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful, with lovely grounds to stroll around, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only improvement I would suggest for the breakfast menu is to have a wider variety of options.

We had a blast with our friends at this gorgeous, luxurious retreat. The fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and shower gel made our stay even better. The serene canal and lush lawns provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings. We loved the secluded heated pool and ample seating areas. The owners were friendly and the nearby village was quiet and pleasant. The location, just off the highway, was convenient for exploring the area.

Felt extremely safe, nothing to complain about.

Lovely surroundings, peaceful location. Children enjoyed swimming pool and playing football in garden. Parents relaxed by pool and in garden. Fantastic hosts available if needed. Impressed and would recommend to other families.

We got great value for our money at River Nene Cottages. The cottage was beautiful and very well maintained, with a modern bathroom and cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect for us, close enough to Peterborough for work but far enough for peace and tranquility. The staff were friendly and gave us great advice on local attractions, like the Cuckoo pub down the road.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from some improvement.

We had a fantastic stay at River Nene cottages. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed, from cooking essentials to a pre-stoked fireplace. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, with tasteful furnishings and artwork throughout. The double beds were incredibly comfortable and the shower room was spotless. We appreciated the little extra touches, like the basket of chopped firewood and breakfast staples waiting for us in the fridge. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing family trip or a romantic getaway.
