my long weekend stay in matlock was even better than before - riverbank house exceeded all expectations! the location was ideal, with a tranquil garden and riverbank seating. the center of town was a stone's throw away, making it convenient. the breakfast was delicious and the room was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views. highly recommended!

What a little hidden Gem! From the moment we arrived it was excellent. A lovely friendly welcome. Fab room with a great garden view. The breakfast was very good. The garden was beautiful with a summerhouse & an undercover area & the river at the bottom through the gate where there was also seating. A minute from bars & restaurants, a lovely park & shops with pubs, coffee shops & 2 minutes from the train station. It is on a private road so no noise, only the birds singing. A perfect place for a getaway. Will definitely visit again.

The value for money at Riverbank House was excellent, with a clean and well-appointed room. The location was perfect, tucked away in a cul de sac but still a short walk from the heart of town. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and offered helpful advice on the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming B&B in Matlock. The location was fantastic, allowing us to easily explore the town center and enjoy leisurely walks along the river. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we had a delightful time relaxing in the beautiful garden. The room was lovely, although it did get warm overnight due to the unusually hot July weather. Thankfully, a ceiling fan provided some relief. a great place for people who enjoy karaoke and casinos.
