riverdown in topsham was a delightful stay! exceeded my previous experience. the breakfast selection and quality were exceptional. loved the private field with river views, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. great area for cycling too!

The location of the hotel in that area of Devon is absolutely stunning. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Exe estuary from the garden outside. being right next to the Exe estuary cycle path is a great advantage for cyclists and walkers. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was delicious and the host was friendly and helpful.

It would be helpful to have some additional storage space for clothes in the room.

The location turned out to be far from what was advertised, making it difficult to get to Exeter city center. The area was too remote, and the roads leading to the property were narrow and dark, which made getting there a bit stressful.
