We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little guest house. the breakfast was excellent and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the attention to detail was impressive, with a neat tray in our room and a flask for milk and water. the landlady, Helen, was especially kind to me during a difficult time, as I was staying for my Father's funeral in a nearby village. the location was convenient, with shops and amenities within easy walking distance. Parking was available and the room had spare pillows, plenty of tea, coffee, and milk, and ample hot water. Alex, the friendly and proactive host, made us feel very welcome and even shared tips with my mum, who runs a B&B. the room was clean and fresh, with thoughtful touches like Elizabeth Shaw chocolates. the breakfast, although a single serving of each item, was delicious and there was a wide variety of other options like toast and cereal. I highly recommend Riverside Guest House for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
