We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The parking was convenient, and we didn't have to worry about finding a spot. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Located by the bridge leading into the charming country town, The Riverside Kendal is in a prime location right in the center of the Market place. You can easily hop over to explore the local shops and boutiques. The bar area downstairs offers a cozy atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring. And with it being very close to all the beautiful lakes, you'll have plenty of options for scenic walks and outdoor activities.

The dinner menu could use more variety to avoid repetition.

The Christmas stay was just what we needed. The staff were attentive, and the warm welcome on arrival made us feel comfortable. We really enjoyed the complimentary bubbly and mince pies upon arrival. The hotel location, close to shops and markets, was very convenient. Plus, the hot drinks in the room, made each morning a joy.

The walls between the rooms are quite thin, making it difficult to fully relax at bedtime with the noise of other guests. the breakfast was not as diverse as expected, and we wished there were more options for hot food.

The staff were friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. They provided ice buckets for our drinks since there was no room fridge. The pool, sauna, gym, and steam room were a nice bonus. The bed and room were very comfortable, and there was a good supply of drinks. The hotel even gave us a free ferry ticket to Ableside, saving us money. The Tannery bar had a great selection of food.
