I recently stayed at a hidden gem in the stunning Northumberland countryside. The location was absolutely ideal for exploring the area and going on hikes. The garden area was lovely and secure for my furry friend, providing a perfect space for them to roam around. The double room had a blackout blind and ceiling fan which were an absolute savior during the heatwave. It really made the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We recently stayed at Rock Lodge for a few nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The location just off the A1 made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, and the owners, Jen and Shaun, were truly wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The lodge itself was surprisingly spacious and had all the amenities we needed, plus some lovely extras like milk and doughnuts in the fridge. We also loved the fact that it was dog-friendly. our experience at Rock Lodge was perfect in every way.

The lodge is well-equipped, spacious, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The private garden with access to the woodland is a nice addition. It is also dog-friendly, which is a big plus.

We had an amazing stay at a stunning lodge in a tranquil spot. The hosts, Shaun and Jen, were down to earth and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The lodge was clean, comfy, and well-positioned, providing everything we needed and more. We loved the use of the beautiful woodland area and field, perfect for our dog and children to play. The location was convenient, with easy access to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahouses, and Lindisfarne Nature Reserve. Shaun even offered us a late check out, showing their flexibility and thoughtfulness. a truly wonderful experience we won't forget. Thank you, Shaun and Jen!

The lodge is conveniently located near major attractions like Alnwick Castle, Cragside, Bamburgh, and Seahouses. The spacious lodge offers a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a nice bathroom. The hosts are friendly and responsive, adding personal touches like milk, biscuits, and free-range eggs. The surrounding woodland area and field provide a peaceful atmosphere to relax in.

The lodge is situated close to the A1, so traffic noise could be bothersome at times.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely cabin in a convenient location. The facilities were excellent, including a spacious kitchen, central heating, and a nice bathroom. The cabin felt secure with its own private outdoor area, perfect for enjoying the sun. Our children had a great time exploring the secret woods on the property. The owners, Jen and Shaun, were welcoming and approachable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our son loved searching for freshly laid eggs in the nearby henhouse. we highly recommend this cabin for a family holiday, including our furry friend.

Amazing cabin, cozy and comfortable. The beautiful logs gave it a rustic look. Located near all the popular tourist spots in Northumberland. The forest behind was lovely, great for walks. The lounge area was the best, with a comfy sofa and a wood burner that added a touch of romance to the evenings.

The shower facilities could have been better, a little more water pressure would have been nice. We had to ask for towels, but the owner was quick to provide them.
