Some reviews mentioned that the accommodation can be shabby in other "dog-friendly" holidays, but that was not the case here.

Over Christmas, we had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was perfect, nestled in a beautiful countryside setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. We particularly loved the petting farm and play area, which kept our children entertained for hours. Additionally, the lodges were well presented and clean, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

There were a few aspects that we were not entirely satisfied with. there were some cleanliness issues, such as cobwebs and dust in the corners of the rooms.

We were delighted to find that we had been upgraded to a deluxe family lodge due to the park being quiet. The lodge was well furnished with everything we needed, and the surroundings were clean and beautiful with trees and flowers. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a nice playground and comfortable chairs and table for barbecue. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi for a relaxing end to the day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Just had the best few days away here. Perfect for our little family. Our 3-year-old loved the play area and especially the hot tub. We visited Falling Foss and Robin Hood's Bay, making our getaway even more amazing! The log cabin was in an excellent spot with beautiful views of birds, squirrels, and sheep with lambs. Very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was comfy, and the shower was better than some hotels we've stayed in. The staff were really helpful and nice. a lovely little break away not too far from home! Thank you.

We recently stayed at a lodge in the beautiful countryside and had a wonderful time. The lodge was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. The grounds were well-kept and we loved seeing the Halloween decorations being put up. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free. We appreciated the small honesty shop on-site and made use of the DVD rental. The map of local walks provided in the lodge was a helpful guide for exploring the area. We ventured out to Eden camp and Pickering town, both of which were charming and enjoyable. We also took a trip to Scarborough, which was conveniently close to the lodge. we had a fantastic stay and would gladly recommend this place to anyone.

rocklands lodges in pickering exceeded our expectations. surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, the clean surroundings and comfortable amenities made our stay enjoyable. the jacuzzi was a fantastic way to relax, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like whitby and the forest.

Lovely Lodges: I recently stayed at a charming lodge in a peaceful location, just a short drive away from Flamingo Land and Scarborough. The owner was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The lodge itself was clean and spacious, with thoughtful touches like towel animals and children's books. The kids loved the play area, and there was even a DVD hire service for rainy days. It was a perfect retreat, and I can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hidden gem in North Yorkshire.

Lovely place to stay, not too crowded so peaceful, and relaxing. The kids loved the park area in view of our lodge, knowing they were safe. Fab outside BBQ area to chill at night. Hosts were lovely, and the honesty shop on site was great. Lodge itself was warm, very clean, and lovely. No complaints whatsoever, will definitely return for another stay hopefully soon :))))
