The hotel, located in a beautiful village, is close enough to Trecco Bay and offers easy access to the town and seaside. I recently stayed at an amazing pub just off the M4. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The shower room was to die for, with towels and toiletries provided. The food, especially the full Welsh breakfast, was fantastic. The pub had a nice, quiet location, and the historic building had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Despite a few minor criticisms, I would definitely return to this place. highly recommended.

The food at this country pub was absolutely delicious and well-cooked. I enjoyed a delightful three-course meal on my first evening, and the breakfasts were cooked to order and really tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was great, and it was a pleasant surprise to have a bathtub in the bathroom. The bedding was spotlessly clean, and overall it was a comfortable stay. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the occasionally noisy doors and the lack of pillow options, they didn't greatly impact my experience. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend it. I had a great stay at this good value country pub.

One of the reviews mentioned that there were some loud disturbances outside the room at night, but this can be easily resolved by closing the window for a peaceful night's sleep.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right opposite the village green and close to the town centre. It's also within walking distance to the seafront and the golf course. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious and there is a pleasant atmosphere at the restaurant. The rooms are small and basic, but comfortable.

Friendly village with 3 pubs offering good food and real ales. Close to Cardiff, 15 mins walk from Rest Bay beach. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with clean linen and towels. a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Loved the delicious dinner with perfectly cooked steak and a refreshing green salad. the locally sourced breakfast was also a highlight, especially with the addition of lava bread. the quality of the food definitely exceeded expectations.

The lighting in the bar was incredibly poor, making it nearly impossible to read or even see the menu. the pillows were too plump for our liking and the fire doors were excessively heavy.

This hotel in a small village surpassed my expectations in many ways. the value for money was excellent, with affordable prices that didn't compromise on quality. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The basic amenities provided were just what we needed for a comfortable stay, and the rooms were surprisingly cozy, especially with the heater on during colder evenings. Additionally, the easily accessed Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected throughout our visit.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.
