our stay at rosemount guest house in windermere was even better than our previous visit. the big room and bathroom were perfect, and the lovely hot bath was exactly what we needed to rejuvenate. the breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal for exploring. we loved looking out of the large bay windows onto the tree lined street.

The hotel's location in the Lake District is excellent - close to the centre and within walking distance to Bowness where the pier is at. Nothing could have been better.

Complimentary tea and biscuits alongside a large-sized room is the only good point about this place. Set along a road frequented by tourists, it was great to have a comfortable bed to land in at the end of a long day of meetings. The breakfast was standard but filling, and it was nice to have a decent amount of coffee to start the day.

Disappointing and dreary atmosphere throughout the hotel. With dirty carpets and faded decor, the guest rooms are in dire need of a refurbishment.

I had an excellent two-night stay at Rosemount Guest House in February. The room and en-suite were modernly decorated and clean. The shower was good and the bed very comfortable. Andrew and Louise, along with other staff members, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was plentiful, fresh, and delicious.

The location of the guest house was perfect for me as it was situated halfway between Windermere and Bowness, making it easy to explore both areas on foot. The breakfasts served were absolutely amazing, with the toast being a standout for me. The hosts were also very helpful in suggesting hiking routes around the lake.
