Beautiful and clean rooms, with all necessary amenities. Friday meal was enjoyable, although one dish needed reheating. Professional and friendly staff provided great service. Good quality breakfast. a great hotel experience with just minor inconveniences.

We had a memorable stay at the romantic retreat in the outskirts of Ambleside. the hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance to the village centre. Our room was immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches like fresh milk and information about the area. the highlight was the spacious bath, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. it was a 10/10 experience and a special treat for our celebration.

We loved the great location, just a short walk from the town centre of Ambleside. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were cheerful, extremely helpful, and addressed any queries quickly. The breakfast was delicious, with everything homemade.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Rothay Manor. The location is ideal, with everything within a short walk. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and exudes elegance. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, one of the best we've had on our trip. Our room was lovely and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and made our dog feel very welcome. Definitely recommend staying at Rothay Manor.

We recently stayed at a charming hotel just a short walk from the town center. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The powerful shower was a delight and the breakfast was beautifully presented with a wonderful view of the grounds. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed the diverse menu with both A La Carte and Bistro style evening meals. a fantastic experience.

In the morning, there was some noise from deliveries which disturbed our peaceful stay.

As foreign tourists, we loved the friendly and professional staff, including the tall foreign lady and the lovely sandy-haired girl from London. The receptionist and the young girl with dark hair were also very pleasant. The room and bathroom seemed recently refurbished, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. The afternoon tea, including the gluten-free options, was excellent, with a delicious selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes. The garden was beautifully tended, and we appreciated being able to bring our dog along and having a large garden for them to roam. The size and location of the conservatory room were perfect for us and our pet. The grounds were also very nice, and the breakfast was top-notch. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation.

the bed and location were perfect, making my stay in Ambleside even better. Rothay Manor surpassed my expectations with its comfortable bed and quiet room near the road. Truly a great place to rest after a long day of cycling.

The staff at this hotel were excellent, always there to help. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the attention to detail in the decor was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds and the heated boot room, which was perfect for drying off my muddy boots after a day of hiking. The lounge and bar areas were great places to relax and have a drink, and the breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was also convenient, being on a roundabout just on the south side of town, halfway between the top of Lake Windermere and the town center. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional.

The room was well-equipped with modern amenities and the breakfast was delicious. the location near the main shops and attractions was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. We especially appreciated the friendly and attentive service from the staff.

The room was a bit cramped and the fridge didn't work well. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was pleasant and we would recommend this hotel to others visiting the area for business or leisure.
