We had a fantastic time at this hidden gem in Scotland. The location was perfect, with scenic walks and a beautiful view in the morning. The lodge itself was cozy and well-decorated, with a wood-burning stove that kept us warm and comfortable. The host, Lorna, was welcoming and knowledgeable, providing us with great recommendations for attractions in the area. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast pack with fresh, local produce. The lodge had everything we needed, including Netflix and plenty of towels and bedding.

That the third bed was in one of the bedrooms, so for a party of 6, some adults had to share a bedroom while others had a private one. It would have been preferred if the sofa bed was in the downstairs sitting room for more privacy.

Rowanlea Lodge provides a perfect location for a relaxing break, with scenic walks and little traffic. The lodge offers a cozy wood-burning stove and tasteful decor, with plenty of towels and bedding. Guests can enjoy fresh, local produce in the breakfast hamper and access to Netflix. The lodge also comes equipped with a hot tub and a new BBQ/outdoor heater, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking morning views.

The third bed being in one of the bedrooms may pose an inconvenience for larger parties, as some adults may have to share a room.
