The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional - we got everything we needed for a fraction of the cost. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the new carpets in the rooms to the white, clean fluffy towels provided. Lastly, the location was perfect - in a quiet area yet close to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and the breakfast at 9am was excellent.

We booked last-minute due to work changes and were pleasantly surprised by the fabulous service and genuine care from the staff at Royal Hotel. Our room was clean and newly decorated, with a delightful small balcony for enjoying the sunny weather. The owners clearly take pride in providing a charming and quality experience at an unbeatable price. The nearby brand hotel guests we spoke to paid triple the price and were not as pleased. If we return to the area, this will be our first choice.

Our room was clean and freshly decorated, with a small balcony to enjoy the sunny weather. the charm and quality of the hotel was difficult to beat at this price. We even spoke to guests from a nearby brand hotel who paid three times more and were not satisfied with their choice. If we find ourselves in the area again, Royal Hotel will be our first choice.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay.

I did find that some areas of the hotel were a bit run down and could do with some updates.
