I had a fantastic stay at the Writers View, Royal Mile Apartment. The location couldn't have been better - right on the Royal Mile and within easy walking distance to all the attractions. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had a charming atmosphere. The neighbors were friendly and the amenities, like Tescos and Sainsbury, were conveniently close by.

Excellent location. Historic building with no elevator, but worth it for the views. Spacious apartment with all necessary amenities. Convenient key pickup at train station counter. Friendly and helpful host.

Great value for money with a central location, comfortable beds, and very clean accommodation. The host, John, communicated excellently and provided all the information we needed.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

I recently stayed at Writers View, Royal Mile Apartment for a few nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with the Writers Museum just across the yard and the Jolly Judge pub a short walk away. The famous Edinburgh Castle was also just a few hundred yards up the hill. I loved the fact that we could prepare our own breakfast and the host provided tea, coffee, and other amenities. The rooms were inviting and friendly, making our stay very comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
