our recent stay in ottery st mary was delightful, but our stay at a lovely cottage in mazzards farm exceeded all our expectations. the hosts were brilliant, the surroundings were fabulous, and there was plenty to keep our son entertained. we enjoyed the peaceful location and the convenience of a nearby farm shop. the cottage had all the amenities we needed and the courtyard was a great spot to relax in the evening sun. we can't wait to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Russett Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped, and situated in a tranquil and peaceful location. Communication with our host was excellent, and they provided us with warm scones, jam, and tea and coffee upon arrival. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a strong shower, wood-burning stove, and good kitchen facilities. The laundry room was convenient and the courtyard was beautifully maintained. We also appreciated the selection of DVDs and the sheltered play area for children. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Our family of four stayed in Russet Cottage for one night. The owners were kind to accommodate our late arrival. The cottage had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. We regret not being able to stay longer and will definitely return.

The cottage had everything we needed and we were very comfortable during our time there. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer, but we will definitely be back! Thank you to Ruud and his family for their hospitality and for providing such a lovely holiday cottage. We highly recommend it, especially for families with young children.

It was kind of the owners to let us stay for one night only and to arrive late. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We really regretted not being able to stay for longer and will be back! Lovely cottage in fabulous surroundings. Perfect location to explore from, but also plenty to amuse our son in the grounds when we were at the property. Hosts were brilliant and gave us great advice on the surrounding area. Nice farm shop 10 minutes walk down the road. The courtyard outside with our own specific table was a good place to hang out in the early evening sun. So glad that we booked our stay in Russet cottage at Mazzards farm, and can't wait to return one day.

Our stay at the cottages was excellent value for money. The room was fabulous, with great kitchen facilities, a strong shower, and thoughtful touches like scones, jam. The location was peaceful and remote, providing a relaxing environment. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway.

The morning meal could have been improved with a small coffee table in the cottage.
