We recently stayed at Rustic Cottage for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the town centre with plenty of dog-friendly places to eat and drink. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and cosy, with a lovely enclosed garden for our small dog to explore. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and dog treats waiting for us upon arrival. The key collection process was simple and the owner was easily reachable. We loved the quirkiness of the cottage, from the grandfather clock to the fireplace. a lovely stay and we've already booked a return visit!

We enjoyed lighting the fire and relaxing after a day of walking. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We will definitely book again when we visit The Lake District.
