We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff, particularly the friendly blonde lady at reception, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were beautiful with very comfy beds, and the building itself had loads of character. The hotel is set in a lovely little village with plenty of parking and is conveniently located for visiting the local area. It is a 30-minute walk along the railway track to the nearby city, and there is a delightful café by the river, just a 5-minute walk away, where you can feed the ducks and hire a rowing boat. The continental breakfast offered a wide selection of options and was delicious.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The parking was tight and not very accommodating for larger vehicles. Some areas appeared to need updating or repair.
