Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! the housekeeping was top-notch, our room and bathroom were always clean and cozy. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight - delicious, with a great selection and cooked to perfection. the tranquil gardens surrounding the hotel provided a peaceful oasis to relax in. We especially enjoyed watching the Badgers feeding at night; what a unique experience! this hotel exceeded our expectations with its warm hospitality and lovely atmosphere.

What a way to start the new year! I had the pleasure of staying at a charming manor house, surrounded by stunning views of the sea. the property was beautifully maintained and I was pleasantly surprised to find red squirrels frolicking around the area. Breakfast was a real highlight with delicious veggie sausage on the menu, cooked to my preference. Location-wise, the hotel had easy access to a variety of cafes, restaurants, and stores, all a short walk away. Lastly, the bed was superbly comfy - I slept like a baby.

The low water pressure in the shower was a minor inconvenience. No doubt I will return to this delightful place in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this period hotel located in beautiful gardens. The close proximity to the sea allowed us to easily access the beach down the cliff steps. The tranquil surroundings of old Shanklin added to the peaceful atmosphere. The room and bathroom were comfortable and well-appointed, with lovely fluffy towels and bathrobes. The service was exceptional, with the owners being friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was superb, with a wide menu selection.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short walk from the charming town center and the beach. You can easily walk down the cliff steps to the beach in just 10 minutes, where you can enjoy the beautiful sea view and relax. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hosts, Mike and Carole, are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Plus, the breakfasts cooked by Mike are delicious.

The hotel has low water pressure in the showers, which can be a bit disappointing.

The location was central, making it easy to explore the local pubs and restaurants. we had a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
